The Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida welcomes Larry Allen as its new Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer.
With over 17 years of Information Technology experience in healthcare and insurance environments, Allen holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management and an Associate of Science in Telecommunications Engineering. Additionally, he has held certifications in networking, security, and telecommunications from Cisco and Nortel Networks.
“Larry has extensive experience in healthcare technology management, compliance, and security and we are excited to have him on board,” said Healthcare Network CEO Mike Ellis. “His expertise will be a tremendous asset in promoting our mission of providing quality healthcare accessible to everyone in the community.”
Annually, the Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida provides primary care for 36,000 people in Southwest Florida (25,000 are children) at 13 medical and dental service locations in East Naples, Golden Gate, North Naples, Marco Island and Immokalee. The Healthcare Network also provides pediatric, medical and dental services, including screenings for autism, through the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®.
