Background/Experience. Dr. Bernard Feldman received an MD from State University of New York, Downstate and a MPH in Maternal and Child Health from UC Berkley.He is board certified in Pediatrics and Perinatal-Neonatal Medicine and practiced as a Neonatologist in Las Vegas, NV for 29 years. His professional career includes a long list of hospital, teaching and administrative appointments at the local, state and national levels and service as a medical officer in the United States Navy from 1960-1965 when he was honorably discharged attaining the rank of Lt. Commander.Dr. Feldman has authored and co-authored 18 scientific publications. He holds the position of Professor and Chair of Pediatrics, Emeritus at the University of Nevada School of Medicine where he developed the school’s residency training program in Pediatrics.He currently serves as a physician member of the Collier County Medical Reserve Corps and a volunteer pediatric instructor in the primary care center at the Isabel Read Medical Center in Immokalee.
