Healthcare Network leadership to keynote League of Women Voters Luncheon



Naples, FL December– The Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida today announced that its CEO, Mike Ellis, and its vice president of operations, Dr. Emily Ptaszek, will be the keynote speakers at The League of Women Voters of Collier County (LWVCC) Luncheon, Monday, January 11th at the Naples Hilton, 5111 Tamiami Trail North.  Registration begins at 11:45 A.M. with lunch at 12:00 noon.  The program, entitled, “Beyond Repair Shop Medicine”, will start at 12:30 P.M. and end promptly at 1:30 P.M.

            With a combined 45 years in health care, Ellis and Ptaszek will examine their organization’s integration of behavioral care into its overall Family and Women’s Care, including its primary Pediatric and Dental Care for over 60 percent of Collier County’s children.

            “The League of Women Voters strongly supports access to health care for all including behavioral and mental health care.” states LWVCC President, Charlotte Nycklemoe. “While gaps in access remain in Collier County and in Florida as well as in other parts of the U.S.”, she adds, “we salute the Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida for the strides they have taken in meeting the needs of our residents.”
