OB/GYN in multidisciplinary approach to address the family planning and reproductive health of women, as well as, pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Our staff includes physicians, nurse midwives, physician assistants, health educators, lactation specialists, childbirth educators, nutritionists, and behavioral health providers.
OB: These services are focuses on the needs of women during pregnancy. Women who know they are pregnant, are encouraged to start prenatal care within their first trimester. Early and consistent prenatal care is better for the health of the mother-to-be and for the infant. We provide all necessary check-ups, examinations and laboratory work, and offers education on a wide range of topics. In addition to specially trained nurses and support staff, the clinic has three physicians and two nurse midwives. The clinic provides team care and a provider is on-call and available 24 hours a day.
We also support midwifery and provides medical intervention as necessary. Some patients choose to have home births or use midwives or other providers not affiliated with Healthcare Network to assist at the birth. We still encourage pregnant women to get involved in our prenatal services as soon as possible to assure healthy outcomes regardless of the type of birth experience ultimately selected. The providers at Women's Care Naples use the Naples Community Hospital for deliveries.
This center does not provide general medical services; however, it coordinates such services with other Healthcare Network sites. It also coordinates fast-track referrals to dental and behavioral health services as needed.
The 4500 SF location has _ private examination rooms, with eight medical and three administrative personnel on staff.
